The aim of the scheme is to avoid duplicated applications by contractors for approved list. This saves a lot of time and money for all involved. In addition, a CHAS assessment may negate the need for a full assessment when tendering for work with Members.
In addition, PVC is guaranteed against discoloration for 10 years, glass units are guaranteed against failure for 5 years, and all hardware is guaranteed for 1 year subject to being maintained correctly.
