Building Communities Awards The Biggest And Best Yet

Nationwide Windows Ltd were once again delighted to be the headline sponsors of the Building Communities Awards (BCA), which took place on 18th February and were marked as the biggest and best yet.

Adrian Pavey, Commercial Director comments: “We have been the headline sponsors of the BCAs since their inception in 2015.  The awards, organised by EEM, recognise the professionalism, excellence and innovation sitting at the heart of the UK’s public and private construction and housing communities and celebrate the outstanding performance in areas particularly important to us, like training, apprentices, social value and collaborative working. Congratulations to the all the winners and runners up at this year’s event.

“There is also a tremendous charity fundraising effort associated with the awards – this year the event raised a total of £33,000 for Rainbows Hospice who provide care and support to life-limited children and their families in the East Midlands area.”

David Strudley, CEO of Rainbows said: “What an amazing achievement to cap a truly brilliant evening! EEM set a target of £30,000 but raised a staggering £33,000.  On behalf of the children and families, as well as the staff at Rainbows, heartfelt thanks for a magnificent event and a wonderful example of unstinting support. Thank you”.

EEM Chief Executive, Pete Smith says:

“We would like to express our gratitude to everyone involved in making the Building Communities Awards 2018 the biggest and best event EEM has ever held and in particular Nationwide Windows Ltd who were Headline Sponsor at the Building Communities Awards for the third year running.    Without the support of the EEM network in the form of sponsorship, ticket sales, the donation of auction lots and raffle prizes and additional cash donations we would not have been able to achieve such a wonderful donation for our chosen charity.”
