Ben Taylor is Highly Commended in CHIC Trainee of the Year Award 2017
Nationwide Windows Ltd is delighted to announce that Ben Taylor, Service Engineer from their Nottingham depot, has received the ‘Highly Commended’ award for Trainee of the Year presented at the recent Central Housing Investment Consortium Ltd (CHIC) annual conference.
“CHIC is a not-for-profit organisation that provides a managed supply chain service to their consortium of Social Housing Providers,” explains Chris Costall, Compliance Director at Nationwide Windows Ltd. “Every year CHIC invites their members to nominate someone from their team that is an outstanding trainee who has shown exceptional progress and commitment and Ben Taylor was the obvious choice according to his manager. Ben first started with Nationwide Windows and Doors as a self-employed installer and during this time completed the Level 2 NVQ in Fenestration Installation qualification with us. The dedication and positive performance Ben demonstrated throughout his initial training lead him to be directly employed as a Service Engineer. He has continued development by completing the Level 3 NVQ in Survey and Installation via our GQA approved in-house training centre and now works a dual role of Service Engineer and Inspector in Nottingham.
“The Midlands is a key area for us thanks to work we do with CHIC. None of this would be possible without people like Ben - we are extremely proud of Ben’s achievement and it is testament to his dedication and that of the entire team at Nationwide Windows Ltd.”
