Nationwide was established in 1986 to satisfy the manufacturing requirements for high quality PVC-U windows and doors for our then sister company Future Homes, and the local Midlands building community. The first significant feather in our cap was to be awarded the sole supply to one of Moscow’s largest and longest established replacement window and conservatory companies. Since then, we have enjoyed controlled strategic growth as we expanded across the UK and now work with many of the country’s leading housing associations, local authorities and house builders. As manufacturers and installers, we are unusual in that we can take control of the entire process from order to fitting, so can offer guarantees, peace of mind and value for money.
Our determination to succeed, continued investment and rigorous quality control have driven our growth to the £15 million turnover social housing and new build window specialist we are today. 2010 saw us kick off the most recent investment in a £100,000 rebranding programme to ensure that we continue to grow by adapting to meet the needs of the ever changing market.
We were also delighted to have our performance and commitment to quality endorsed when we were awarded the Public Sector Project of the Year at the prestigious G10 glazing awards at Wembley in December 2010. The award recognised our ongoing partnership with Nottingham City Homes as part of its Secure Warm Modern programmes - one of the largest social housing refurbishment contracts in the UK.
